About the School:
Key Peninsula Civic Center installed a 4.86-kilowatt photovoltaic (PV) system to offset the energy costs involved with operating the Center. Energy monitoring provided by Solar 4R Schools connected the live performance data from their PV system to the Energy Exploration Center at Solar4RSchools.org. Students and educators in the surrounding Peninsula School district as well as site visitors nationwide can chart, graph and analyze the system's performance data for educational purposes.
