About the School:
In 2011, Snohomish County PUD worked with BEF to install a 2.34-kilowatt photovoltaic (PV) system in front of Snoqualmie Hall at the Edmonds Community College campus in Lynwood, Washington. This PV system is installed as an outdoor covered picnic shelter built by Sun Storage of Enterprise, Oregon. The system uses transparent PV modules designed and developed by Sanyo's Salem, Oregon facility. Energy monitoring services and hardware provided by Solar 4R Schools™ to Edmonds Community College made real-time performance data from their PV system accessible to the community at the time of the project.
