City of Beaverton

The City of Beaverton is located seven miles west of Portland, Oregon, in the Tualatin River Valley, encompasses 19.6 square miles, and is home to more than 94,000 residents. The city is Oregon’s sixth largest city and the second-largest incorporated city in Washington County. In 2009, the City of Beaverton received $914,900 in federal stimulus funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG). Of this funding, $125,242 was used to install solar panels on the roof of the Beaverton City Library.
