About the School:

The 3-kilowatt photovoltaic system installation at the Klondike National Historical Park was completed in May 2010. The power generated helps offset the building energy consumption. The project was made possible by funding from the Seattle City Light Green Power Program. At the time of the project, energy monitoring and interactive kiosk provided to the Park connected live performance data from their existing PV system to students and educators for educational purposes.
