Issaquah Fish Hatchery

In May 2008, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) funded the installation of a photovoltaic (PV) system at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery to introduce visitors to renewable energy technology and provide them with an opportunity to explore global energy issues in an interactive, hands-on way. The project is part of PSE's broader effort to encourage more widespread adoption of renewable energy technology. Thanks to the support of PSE, energy monitoring awarded to the Issaquah Fish Hatchery by the Solar 4R Schools program connected real-time performance data from their 1-kilowatt PV system for educational purposes at the time of the project.
