Tucker Maxon School

Completed in 2018, this 44.8 kW roof top solar photovoltaic system generates an estimated 48,000 kWh of clean, renewable energy each year. A total of 128 solar panels provide the equivalent to powering about 4 average US homes per year, and is expected to offset half of the school’s electricity. Tucker Maxon School is committed to sustainability, renewable energy, and conservation education for our students, staff, and community.
