Using less energy, water, and resources in school and at home helps protect our environment for future generations by reducing emissions and other harmful impacts. Camas High School strives to create good stewards of the future by exposing students to programs and buildings that promote sustainability. At Camas High School, motion sensor keeps the lights off when rooms are empty. The use of fluorescent lights also significantly reduces energy use. Our Earth Club has a strong recycling program for paper as well as bottles and cans, which saves energy and also permits reuse of important resources.
